Taro Okamoto's mural "Asu no Shinwa" (Myth of tomorrow) is unveiled at its new permanent home in Tokyo's Shibuya Ward during a ceremony on Monday. It is open to the public in a corridor linking JR and Keio Inokashira Line Shibuya stations.

Okamoto (1911-1996), known for his abstract paintings and sculptures, depicted the horrors of atomic and hydrogen bomb explosions on the 30-meter-long and 5.5-meter-high mural.

月曜日、岡本太郎の壁画「明日の神話」が常設展示場所となる渋谷区で式典で公開された。ＪＲ渋谷駅と京王井の頭線渋谷駅の連絡通路で一般公開された。
抽象画や抽象彫刻で知られる岡本太郎（１９１１～１９９６）が幅３０メートル、縦５．５メートルの壁画に原水爆の恐怖を描いた。
