YouTube日本語版が公開

YouTubeが日本語版サイトを公開した。「動画」「カテゴリ」など、各種メニューが日本語化されている。これで日本人にとってももっと身近になること間違えなし。私の場合は英語の勉強の為、これまで通り英語で続行していこうと思う。
YouTubeには、海外のTV番組などがたくさんあるのでほんと感謝！
19日、ヨーロッパやアジアなど9カ国の言語に対応したことについてYouTube Chief ExecutiveのChad Hurley氏は、
“YouTube will now be more accessible and interesting to a worldwide audience, and we look forward to rolling out in other countries in the months to come.”
（ユーチューブは、世界中の利用者にとって、より利用しやすく、面白くなるでしょう。ここ数ヶ月間で他の国々に展開されることを期待している。）
"Our mission is to entertain, inform and empower the world through video."
（我々の使命は、ビデオを通して世界を楽しませ、情報や力を与えること。）
また、著作権問題に対しては、
The expansion also could deliver new challenges for YouTube as it tries to adhere to the laws and community standards of other nations.
（拡大は、他国の法律や社会水準に従っていくという新しい挑戦をしていくことでもある）
・accessible 利用しやすい、便利な
・roll out 展開する
・in the months to come 今後数カ月に、来るべき何カ月かの間に
・empower ～に力を与える
・adhere to ～に従う、～に忠実である
