重さ1トンの巨大チーズバーガー、ギネス世界記録に認定 - ほぼ毎日　英語学習日記　～ 英語holic ～

The mammoth meat pattie was served up on Sunday at the Black Bear Casino Resort near Carlton, Minnesota, weighing over a tonne and measuring more than three metres in diameter.

Guinness World Records representative Philip Robertson confirmed the record for the biggest burger ever. He said the feat was the result of “remarkable teamwork” and admitted that the burger “actually tastes really good”

The previous record was 400kg.

巨大チーズバーガーは日曜日、カールトンの近くにあるブラック・ベア・カジノ・リゾートでふるまわれた。重さは1トン、直径は3メートル以上あった。

ギネス世界記録の代表フィリップ・ロバートソンが、これを世界最大のバーガーに認定した。彼はこのチーズバーガーを「優れたチームワーク」の成果であると評価し、「実際とてもおいしい」と述べた。

これまでの世界記録は400キロだった。
