以前から見たいと思って録画しておいた「フリーダ」をようやく見た。
実在のメキシコの女性画家フリーダ・カーロの生涯を描いた伝記映画で製作・主演はSalma Hayek（サルマ・ハエック）。
フリーダ・カーロが実在していたというのは感慨深く、よく出来た映画だと思う。
サルマ・ハエックは、アクターズ・スタジオ・インタビューに出演したのを見て以来、好きになった。それまで持っていたイメージとは違って、かなり知的な人だと思うようになった。

最近、ETの先生の質が落ちているように感じる。とくにSAの先生。全くスライドを予習していない上、もごもご喋って教える意味がわかっていない様子の先生に遭遇した。
これまで3年以上ETをやっているので、ダメな先生が多いのはわかっているけど、ダメの質が悪くなっている気がする。

トピックが「日本」ということで、改めて日本についての知識不足を感じた。日本人生徒が私のみだったこともあり、日本についていろいろ（忍者、侍、盆栽等）聞かれて、答えるのが大変だった。
外国人に日本を説明するときに非常に便利な本である「英語で紹介する日本と日本人」を片手になんとか答えられた程度。。。
日本を説明する際にこの本かなり使えるのでもっと活用したい。
The Twilight Samurai（たそがれ清兵衛）についての質問は、この映画を見たことがないので答えられなかった。日本人として日本の有名な映画は見ておかないといけないということかぁ...

今月から「TOEIC TEST英語学習ダイアリー」に毎日の英語学習時間を記録している。だいぶ前に本屋で見かけて買おうと思ったことがあったけど、そのときは普段使っている手帳に書けばよいと思い購入をやめた。でも手帳に毎日の英語学習記録をつけるのはなかなか大変でできない。
ということで、「TOEIC TEST英語学習ダイアリー」を購入し、今月から記録を始めている。TOEICの為というわけではないけど、薄くて小さく持ち歩けて、結構使える。
リスニング/スピーキングとリーディング/ライティングに分かれて学習時間を記録するようになっているのが最も気に入っている。私の場合、リーディング/ライティングが明らかに少ないので、日々意識できるのは非常によいこと。
ということで、「TOEIC TEST英語学習ダイアリー」を購入し、今月から記録を始めている。TOEICの為というわけではないけど、薄くて小さく持ち歩けて、結構使える。
