ここのところETに参加はしていたけど復習をしていなかったので今日はまとめて復習。復習といっても、先生がボードに書いた文章をマイノートに書き写して、辞書やnetで確認するといった作業。1回のレッスンにつき約15分程度。
１回復習した位ではなかなか覚えられないけどやらないよりはよいと思ってET開始以来ずっと続けている。
無印のA5・40枚のダブルリングノートを愛用。現在10冊目。
よくも飽きずにやっていると自分でも感心する。

海外ドラマ好きの私にとってはテレビのトピックは話しやすかった。先生もCSIとかLOSTが好きだとのことで海外ドラマの話がたくさん聞けて面白かった。先生はHOUSE MDがお勧めだと言っていた。HOUSEは8月からFOXで放送されるので見てみようと思う。US版ブラックジャックとか言われて結構面白そう。

English Horizons会話クラス（3回目）

5ヶ月ぶりにEnglish Horizonsの会話クラスへ参加した。これで3回目なのでお試しは残り3回。クラス数が少ないのでなかなか参加できる時間帯がない。
今日の先生はイギリス出身のChris。Intermediateレベルで生徒は4名（ｻｳｼﾞｱﾗﾋﾞｱ1人、日本人3名）、ﾃｰﾏは「外国での生活について」。
これまで受けた2人の先生はテキストチャットへの書き込みがそれなりにあったけど、今日のChrisはほとんど書くことはなかった。
スライドにある質問を生徒にして、訂正はなく、簡単なコメントを言ってまた次の質問にいくといったスタイル。
話す速度は普通で、マイクに口がやや近い感じがしたけど、聞き取りやすかった。
生徒4名だと話す機会は4-5回程。今日のクラスの生徒はテキストチャットへの書き込みも少なく常連といった感じでもなかった。そこそこ話すレベルですごく流暢に話す生徒はいなかった。ひとりとても長く話す生徒がいたのでその間はかなり退屈だった。
今日は会話クラスの録音機能を使って、レッスンを録音した。自分の英語をきくのはこれが初めて。思っていたより、流暢に話せていないことが判明。
さらに、Ah...とかso...を連発していることも判明。聞き苦しいのでこれは意識して直すようにしていきたい。
レッスンはいまいちだったけど、自分の会話をきけた事は新たな発見があり大きな収穫。
レッスン後のScoreと先生からのコメントは以下の通り。

6月はET以外はほとんどやっていないけど、新たにCNNのスクリプトを確認することを始めた。今までは見てわからないところはそのままにしていたけど、CNNのいくつかの番組はスクリプトが確認できるので、できる範囲で確認をしている。
主にはラリーキングライブの興味のあるゲストが出たとき。
いろいろな言い回しが確認できるので、意外に効果的かなぁと思ったりする。
・イングリッシュタウン：会話クラス10回以上

・NHKラジオ講座（4,5月）の復習
⇒未達成。今はやる気が起きないため、しばらく中止。

今月は久々に会話ｸﾗｽに20回以上参加した。ｱｳﾄﾌﾟｯﾄの場としてはETしかないのでなかなか会話力は上達しない。簡単なことでもいざ言おうとするとでてこないのが現状...
それでも繰り返しているとそれなりに身につくのは実感している。1回学習しただけではすぐに忘れてしまうけど、何回も同じﾃｰﾏをやっていて同じ表現がでてくるとさすがに覚える。
あと、ｲﾝﾌﾟｯﾄしたことをｱｳﾄﾌﾟｯﾄすることも効果的なので、最近は、ﾃﾚﾋﾞなどでみて使えそうな表現は会話ｸﾗｽのときにｱｳﾄﾌﾟｯﾄするようにしている。
