昨日は迂闊にも長時間電車に乗るというのに文庫本を携帯しなかった。まあiPodがあるからいいかとも思ったけど、駅の本屋に立ち寄ったら「毎日ちょこっとリーディング（ジオス教材開発研究室）」という本を見つけて、気に入ったので買った。
最初のページには、多くの人々から集められた「日常のつぶやき」や「過去の思い出」などをネタにした英文とその内容に関するクイズがあり、裏にはクイズの解答と和訳、解説、語彙がのっていて、苦痛なく読めるところがgood。

English Horizonsの会話クラスへ参加した。これで2回目。無料体験があと4回残っているけど、クラスの数が少ないので、なかなか時間が合わなくて参加できない。
先生はアメリカ人のTerry（女性）。生徒は6人（日本人は私だけ）。Advancedクラスだったので、流暢に話せる人が多かった。全体的な感想は、いまいち。先生はホワイトボードには書かなくて、テキストチャットですべて書くのでややわかりにくい。テキストチャットには生徒もものすごい勢いで書き込みをするので、読むだけでも大変！
間違えに対する訂正はないので、どちらかというと会話練習を楽しむという感じかもしれない。生徒も常連が多いみたいで、いまひとつ馴染めなかった。
次回はまた他の先生のクラスを受けようと思う。
