以前から気になっていたオンラインスクールの「English Horizons」に登録して、会話クラスを受けた。登録すると6回無料で会話クラスへ参加できるというので、どんなものかと体験してみることに...
会話レッスンを受けた全体的な印象は、なかなかgood。
１．事前にスケジュール表をみて会話クラスを予約。グループレッスンの数はあまり多くなく、1日に1〜2回程度。
２．会話クラスへ参加。自動でソフトがインストール（1分程度）され、会話クラスへ入れるようになる。Etownと基本的には同じだけど、こちらの方がよくできていて機能は上。常に表示されているチャットボックスに生徒や先生が書き込んでいく。ETになれているせいか、生徒がやたら書き込みをするのはちょっと煩わしいかも。
今回は、Maryという女性の先生で生徒は4名。intermediateのクラスでテーマはMuseum。先生はかなりの早口で、会話にでてきた難しい単語をチャットボックスに書き込むといった流れ。
挙手制ではなく、先生が順番に生徒を指名して答えていくスタイル。
音声は聞き取りやすく問題なし。
教え方は先生によって違うと思うので、次回は違う先生のレッスンを受けてみようと思う。
